My first attempt at time-lapse photography. This view is from my office window during a rain storm. A photograph was taken once every 5 seconds for 4 hours. The resulting video is about 90 seconds long. I wish I had started the time-lapse a little earlier to capture the storm clouds gathering. The first few seconds are pretty dramatic. Such is life living in the PNW (Pacific North West)! Captured on August 18, 2024.

This was about 2 hours compressed into about 22 seconds. It was a test using an old D80 camera. The video is kind of choppy because the intervalometer was acting up. It's supposed to take a picture every 5 seconds, but it missed a lot of them and I don't know why yet. This one was interesting to watch as two layers of clouds are moving in somewhat opposite directions. Captures on August 22, 2024.
